Quick recipes with popped ragi flour
Dhatu popped ragi flour is a versatile flour and can be savored in different ways.
1. Energy Drink: Add 1-2 spoons of popped ragi flour to glass of milk in a pan and bring it to boil. Add jaggery/sugar to taste and mix well.
2. Laadu: In a big bowl mix popped ragi flour, jaggery powder/sugar and melted ghee. Form small balls (laddus) by pressing mixture in the hands. Use more ghee if required. Dry fruits and coconut can be added to the mixture.
3. Coolant: Add 2-3 spoons to butter milk with salt to taste and mix well before serving. This makes an excellent coolant drink.
4. Baby Porridge: Cook 1 tbspn of popped ragi flour with milk , ghee and jaggery. Porridge is ready in five minutes.
